Connection

I bought a new book called "Saving Missisippi". The book is about a girl named Emma that every holiday visits he grandmother, Dolly, at her animal sanctuary. Emma isn't allowed to have a pet, not even a small guinea pig. But then her grandmother buys her Missisippi, a beloved horse of an old friend Mr. Clipperbush, that has passed away! But suddenly Mr. Clipperbush's long-lost nephew wants Missisippi back and nothing can get on his way. This new book reminds me of a movie I saw were this girl's father dies and since her parents were divorced since she was 4, she goes to the village where her father used to live, with her grandma! Her father had a whole farm with chubby little piggies, funny looking cows, cute puppy dogs and agile horses! She, then starts to really bond with the animals when suddenly this mean government guy comes and wants to buy the farm. Since her grandmother doesn't have enough money to afford the farm she sells it to the government guy. But lucky for the girl one horse is left behind and the girl tries to train it so she can win a big horse ridding contest and buy the farm back. Both of the stories have to do with animals. Both of the girls want the animals while those mean guys want to buy the animals! This is how the stories are connected.

Connection!

When Samantha Madison (the main character of my book) was dropped off to her art class and the person that dropped her off left, Samantha, instead of going in the art studio, decided to skip her class and go buy a cookie and then go to this CD store (were you can hear whatever music you want from some headphones attached to the wall). In this Greek series playing now on TV this 14 year old girl decides that instead of going to school she goes and hangs out with her cool grandma. These stories are connected because they both skip classes to go have some fun!

Connection:

In the book that I am reading the main character (Samantha Madison) is forced to take art classes because she was caught drawing celebrity drawings during German class and she got a C-. A friend of mine was forced to take Math classes because she kept on getting bad grades on her Quizzes and Tests. These stories are connected because both of these girls are forced to take out-of-school classes because they got bad grades. Samantha Madison got a bad grade in German and my friend got a bad grade in Math. But the only question is: Why was she forced to take art classes if she got a bad grade in German?

Narrator's perspective:

The narrator's perspective is 3rd person limited because the author wrote the book like she was the main character, I can understand this because in the book it says: "Okay here are the top ten reasons why I can't stand my sister Lucy", so you can see that refers to "I",another reason of how else I understood the narrator's perspective is that so far it doesn't talk about any other person's thoughts or feeling's but the main character's (Sam Madison).  Thought, there is a part that says: "get the big lecture about waste and the environment", If you read just this part you won't understand the perspective immediately. This is what I understood so far because this is a new book and I only read the first two chapters!

The new book that I am reading now is called 'ALL AMERICAN GIRL' by Meg Cabot!

                                            Connection 3

Another prediction I have is that when Shaw finds Boog and Elliot, he will go after them! So they won't know where to go. Lucky for them the forest animals will help them. Shaw will then take a big  powerful gun and try to find them and attack them. Beth will probably receive reports from forest guards, that they heard gunshots. Then Beth will go to that area and arrest Shaw then Boog and Elliot will find Beth. Beth will want to take them home but they will want to stay. Beth will go back home, fall in-love, get married and return to Boog and Elliot, with her husband, and build a house in that area near Boog and Elliot hang around. Then Beth will have children! Maybe Boog will fall in-love with a female bear and have baby bears! Maybe Elliot will find another dear and have baby dears too! They will leave happily ever after!

Buddies!!!!! :)

Connection

Explaining why a character is important!
Character: Boog
Boog
Boog is important to the story because he is the main character, but also because he creates all the action, if he didn't exist in the book there would be no adventure!Beth would probably be a single woman, with no close friends that works real hard. There is something about Boog that just makes everyone laugh. If Boog didn't exist then Elliot would be dead right now. Shaw would of had cut a lot of trees right now and killed a lot of animals. So basically the book wouldn't be as fun without Boog!

                                                                Connection

I predict that Boog (the bear) and Elliot (the deer) will become friends. Maybe Elliot will come at night to Boog's house and throw pedals at his window. Boog will wake up and see Elliot, he will definately be suprised. Elliot will ask Boog if he could sleepover for one night. At first Boog will deny but then Elliot will make a puppy face and Boog will let him sleepover but for only one night. Then in the morning Beth (Boog's owner) will see Elliot and want to adopt him. Boog will surely won't like that. But I am sure at the end they will become friends!
